Morgane Fath

Morgane arrived to the French Lycée of Medellín in 2017, as a teacher of the Moyenne Section, and 2 years ago she became the principal. She is passionate about teaching and is in love with Colombia.

She has worked in France, Italy, and New Caledonia.

Teacher's application requirements

The Lycée Français of Medellín hires teachers in the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year.

Our institution currently has 24 classes, from the Petite Section to CM2. In September 2021 we opened our first 6th grade class.

When fully expanded, our school will open additional classes in primary school in addition to the first sixth grade. Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 are approved, allowing you to earn a service commission. For a job in Cycle 3, availability is required. We give priority to teachers with national training, both titled or not.

Points that will be also analyzed:

  • Appreciation of the EBEP experience
  • Mastery of French programs
  • Experience abroad in a school approved by the AEFE
  • Computer skills (google classroom, use of ICT in class, robotics, programming …)
  • The capacity to easily adapt, availability and investment in the institution’s project
  • Teamwork is required.

Anne Lise


Anne-lise has a BA with a Master of Science in Education from the University of Paris XII. After several experiences in the socio-educational field, she dedicated herself to library science and the promotion of reading in diverse contexts both in France and abroad, specializing in children’s and young literature. Her passion is to transmit stories and encourage finding pleasure in books in children.

Mathilde Ract


Mathilde is a licensed specialist in Psychology, she is characterized by her charisma and her students find in her an empathetic and sensitive support in their growth. She arrived at the Lycée on September 1, 2017th and works as a CP teacher.


Maternal Assistant

Yohanna is an English-French-Spanish translator from the University of Antioquia and a Technologist in Business Administration in Tourism Management. She has been a teacher in various educational institutions and psycho-pedagogical centers for therapies and personalized education.

Natalia López


Natalia has been a Spanish teacher at the Lycée Français since its foundation. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and enjoys accompanying students in the strengthening of her mother tongue as a basis of communication for life and for the subsequent learning of any language.

María Fernanda Brown


Mafe has been part of the Maternal team at the Lycée Français of Medellín since October 16, 2016th and has work experience in Colombia and in her native Venezuela. She is an expert in mindfulness and in addition to leading groups in the Petite Section, she leads this important pedagogical tool, teaching adults and children about it.

Kim Broodkoorn


Kim arrived from Belgium on January 10, 2017, and today she is one of the most beloved teachers at the Maternal School due to her sweetness with children and her high sensitivity. In addition to her teaching profession, she is an equestrian and has accompanied the extracurricular activities of the Lycée students.

Arnaud Siebke


Arnaud arrived at the French Lycée on October 1st, 2018 and has been a teacher in the Grande Section and CP. He has been a Spanish and French teacher in different schools in France and his work philosophy is to accompany the student with clear rules, affection and closeness.

Edwin Calderón

Physical Education Teacher

Edwin is Professor of Sports from the Jaime Isaza Cadavid Polytechnic. He directs the Physical Education Department of ​​the Lycée Français since August 27, 2018th, and has been a coach in Antioquia’s Football League, an INDER trainer and a sports teacher in several schools of the city.
