Comprehensive Support from the Psychopedagogical Area
At the French Lycée of Medellín, we promote inclusive education that ensures the full development of all our students. Our psychopedagogical team provides specialized support and personalized strategies to enhance the abilities of each child and young person.
The Role of the Special Educator Includes:
- Early Detection of Needs: We identify warning signs in student development to act promptly and provide necessary support.
- Inclusive Administrative Management: We assist with SIMAT registration for students with disabilities, learning disorders, behavioral challenges, or exceptional talents, ensuring smooth enrollment, withdrawal, or transfer processes.
- Education for All: We integrate an inclusive approach into our Institutional Educational Project (PEI) and design tools such as PIAR, PAP, and PPS in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and administrators.
- Personalized Monitoring: We track each student’s academic and personal progress, working closely with teachers, psychologists, and families to ensure holistic well-being.
- Active Communication with Families: We build strong and constructive relationships with parents and external therapists, strengthening the inclusion process.
- Formación y sensibilización: Impulsamos jornadas educativas para familias, promoviendo una visión inclusiva y condiciones óptimas para el aprendizaje de todos.
