We are a private, trilingual, secular, and nature-based educational institution operating under calendar B, offering an education aligned with the highest academic standards.

Our approach places the student at the center as the main actor in their learning process, enabling them to acquire knowledge, competencies, and values within a multilingual and multicultural environment that promotes autonomy and critical thinking. In addition to academic excellence, we place strong emphasis on sports, music, and the arts, aiming to educate well-rounded individuals who are socially engaged and who value and respect diversity.

In 2015, the Lycée Français de Medellín opened its doors, bringing a French educational model to the region. We are part of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad), a French public administrative institution under the supervision of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The AEFE network includes more than 600 accredited schools in 138 countries and currently serves over 398,000 students worldwide.

We fully comply with the guidelines of both the French and Colombian Ministries of Education. Our graduates obtain a double diploma: the Colombian academic high school diploma and the French Baccalauréat, which provides access to all French universities as well as institutions across the European Union. In addition, our students graduate with language proficiency certifications based on the Common European Framework of Reference, achieving levels between C1 and C2 in French and between B2 and C1 in English.

We are a young and growing school. In 2015, we began with early childhood education, and since then, we have opened a new grade level each September. Today, we have more than 600 students, and the highest grade currently offered is 3ème (9th grade). In September 2025, we will open Seconde (10th grade), continuing progressively until reaching Terminale (12th grade) in September 2027.
